Handyman Service

From assembly to connecting appliances: our professionals take care of it.

Handyman Service for Your Move

During a move, there are often jobs that are best left to a professional. This includes dismantling furniture, disconnecting appliances, removing flooring or moving large items.

Our handymen can take care of these jobs at both your old and new address. This means you do not need to arrange a separate professional and can have everything handled as part of your move.

How Our Handyman Service Works

Let us know which jobs you would like us to take care of when requesting a quote. We discuss the work in advance and coordinate the handyman service with your move. On moving day, the agreed tasks are carried out at your old address and, where needed, at your new address.

This way, you know exactly what is arranged in advance and the handyman service fits smoothly into the rest of your move.

(Dis)assembly work

Our handymen specialise in dismantling and assembling all kinds of furniture and cabinets, from IKEA PAX wardrobes to custom-made and special pieces. If furniture or cabinets are fixed to the wall, we safely and carefully unscrew them for you.

Hoisting heavy objects

For moves in older cities such as Amsterdam, we regularly use the hoisting technique. Using special equipment such as ropes and pulleys, furniture can be moved safely through windows or balconies.

Removing a window

In some situations it's necessary to remove sash windows during a move. Our craftsmen have plenty of experience safely removing and correctly refitting them.

Disconnecting and connecting washing machines

Our handymen can safely disconnect your washing machine and reconnect it to the existing connections. We work only with the original connection points and don't carry out work such as rerouting or modifying pipes.

Removing the floor

As part of our clearance services, our handymen can also remove your floor, provided it's not glued down. This applies to various floor types, such as parquet, laminate, vinyl and carpet.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know

The most important questions about our handyman service in one overview.

How Much Does a Handyman Cost?
The cost varies depending on the work required and the time needed. You will receive a clear quotation in advance, so you know exactly what to expect.
How Far in Advance Should I Book a Handyman?
We recommend booking the handyman at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance, preferably at the same time as your move. This allows us to coordinate and schedule the work properly. If you need help at short notice, we will of course check what is still possible.
Is the Handyman Work Insured?
Yes, our work is insured up to €100,000. We also handle your furniture, appliances and other belongings with care at all times.
Can I Book a Handyman Without a Move?
Yes. You can also book our handyman separately for jobs such as dismantling furniture, removing flooring or disconnecting and reconnecting appliances. You do not need to book a full move with us.
Do You Reassemble Furniture That Was Already Dismantled?
No. We only reassemble furniture and wardrobes that we dismantled ourselves. This allows us to know exactly how the item was taken apart and ensures it can be reassembled properly at your new address.
